Registration is now open for the Outdoor Festival, a celebration of all things outdoors at Noble View Outdoor Center. Enjoy guided hikes, nature walks, and workshops on the beautiful 350 acre property. It promises to be a memorable event and a great opportunity to explore this amazing and popular facility that has been connected to our chapter since 1930.
There will be a variety of activities suitable for seasoned hikers as well as for families and children.

Saturday, September 17, 10am to 5pm
10am—Various hikes of 2.5 hours and 1.5 hrs. in the morning, short nature walks, hikes for families—See the beautiful trails, rivers, waterfalls, etc of Noble View. Hikes start at 10am and shorter hikes will begin throughout the morning.
1pm—BBQ--FREE to all registered participants. You must register on our online Eventbrite system so we can plan the food.
2pm—Raptor Presentation--Erin O’Connell of the Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut, Inc. (http://elcct.org) will bring three birds of Prey—an Eastern Screech Owl, a Barred Owl and a Red-tailed Hawk. The focus of the program is about the birds' natural history, fun and interesting facts as well as a little about why they are now in captivity. Suitable for all ages.

3pm—Kids activities including a campfire and s’mores!
Music at various times throughout the day outside at the North Cabin.
Learn about the history of Noble View, explore the facilities and learn how you can
volunteer to help with their plans for the future.
Silent Auction of hiking and outdoor items, new and used.
Bring a blanket and/or folding chair for the BBQ and Raptor Presentation.
Learn about the Appalachian Mountain Club Berkshire Chapter and meet our members.
