Here are some of the events being offered at FallFest:
Come celebrate spring with the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Western Massachusetts Chapter as we hold our first Spring Festival celebration on Sunday May 22, 2022, from 9am until 4pm. We want to share with you what we do as an AMC chapter and give you a chance to explore AMC’s beautiful Noble View Outdoor Center located in Russell MA. Get tickets now!
Meet some great people, get your hands dirty and help support our beautiful recreational and ecological sites. Work projects are open to all -- no prior experience is necessary. Please note that some projects require a moderate hike to and from the work site, and others will be off-trail adventures.
Please join the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Mt. Grace Land Trust for a 2-2.5 hour hike on the New England Trail and connecting trails, ending at the Richardson-Zlogar Cabin to enjoy the view, refreshments, and remarks.
It's the time of year in New England when temperatures cool, leaves start to turn wonderful colors and the smell of pumpkin spice permeates coffee shops everywhere. But, nothing says 'fall' like the AMC Fall Festival! Join us for hikes, free food, entertainment and other fun activities starting at 11am on October 16th at the beautiful and scenic Noble View Outdoor Center in Russell, MA. All members and non-members are welcome to attend!

The resumption of activities will occur in phases. Effective June 22, AMC is in Phase 2 of its reopening plan.
The Western Massachusetts and Worcester Chapter outdoor leadership instructors teamed up to provide a series of refreshers seminars for existing leaders during June and July 2020. These topics are updated with the most recent information from AMC’s Outdoor Learning Institute and the Leadership Requirements and Guidelines. While not a required component for leading during Phase 1 and 2 of the volunteer activities re-launch, overviews of how COVID-19 may apply to each topic are included, where applicable.
