Western MA Activity Committees »

AMC offers over 8,000 adventures annually, from local chapter activities to major excursions worldwide, for every ability level and outdoor interest. Our Western MA activity committees plan and lead nearly 300 of these activities every year. Join us for hiking, biking, paddling, mountaineering and many other outdoor activities, or volunteer to help maintain trails and corridors!

See The Dark Festival »

[12‑Oct‑2025] Join us for AMC's 4th annual See The Dark Festival - a full week of dark-sky immersion in AMC's breathtaking International Dark Sky Park. Set against the backdrop of peak fall foliage, this flagship event features nightly telescope sessions, astronomy talks, nature-inspired art and journaling workshops, conservation panels, and daytime adventures like hiking, gravel biking, and paddling.
