Remembrance

If you make it to the top of Mt Greylock, you will find this iconic monument. It is the MA Veterans War Memorial, a 92-foot-tall granite tower with a spiral staircase inside. It was dedicated in June 1933 to commemorate the courage, endurance, loyalty and self-sacrifice of all servicemen and servicewomen from the Commonwealth. We can all honor that sacrifice by doing our part to protect this precious resource - our land.
