EPA is Under Threat
AMC Weekend Feature
[04‑May‑2025] Federal cuts to funding and staffing are critically impacting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's ability to function. The agency is facing historically drastic deregulatory actions, with plans in place to fire hundreds of chemists, biologists, and scientists; create loopholes for air polluters; and de-center the scientific bedrock that policymakers rely on for decision-making. Here's what we can do. AMC RESOURCES »

Happy National Volunteer Week!
[24‑Apr‑2025] We are very happy about the hundreds of volunteers that keep this Chapter doing what it does - leading outdoor adventures for all, maintaining trails and trail structures, cleaning up the forests and rivers, eradicating invasive species, monitoring wildlife activity and holding informative webinars that promote our mission to foster the protection, enjoyment and understanding of the outdoors.
Your Voice Matters
AMC Weekend Feature
[20‑Apr‑2025] Clean air to breath and clean water to drink are essential to supporting a healthy environment, for people and the outdoors. The Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act set the national standards for water and air quality and give the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency the authority to regulate pollutants and the industries that put them into our environment. Now, these bedrock environmental laws, and the natural resources they protect, are at risk.
Take action now: tell your representatives to stand up for clean air and clean water. Your voice matters. VIDEO »
