Wood Day at Noble View -- Saturday, December 10, 2016, 9 am to 4 pm.

Come to Noble View and help with splitting and stacking this year's firewood.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PREPARE THE COTTAGES FOR WINTER!
"Burning wood for heat warms you twice. Once in the gathering and once when you burn it."

Delicious hot lunch of chili or stew will be provided along with cocoa and coffee.

Outdoor Festival at Noble View Outdoor Center

Registration is now open for the Outdoor Festival, a celebration of all things outdoors at Noble View Outdoor Center. Enjoy guided hikes, nature walks, and workshops on the beautiful 350 acre property. It promises to be a memorable event and a great opportunity to explore this amazing and popular facility that has been connected to our chapter since 1930.

Chapter Potluck: Saturday June 4 in Lee

We invite you to join us at our next chapter potluck, on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Lee Congregational Church.

Meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts, learn news about our club, have a tasty meal and hear a wonderful local speaker: Mike Leavitt of the Berkshire Natural Resources Council. Mike will talk about the trails and opportunities offered by the BNRC and other land conservation organizations in the Berkshires.

Berkshire/Worcester Chapter Leader Training

Whether you'd like to become a Chapter leader, or just want to improve your outdoor skills, you're invited to attend. Training emphasizes group dynamics, leaders' responsibilities, trip planning/management, weather emergencies, incident/accident scene management, leader awareness, and decision-making.

The cost is $25 and includes training materials, course instructions, meals and overnight accommodations.
